now. you look over san francisco, of course, you're close to the coastline. generally fresher air out there with the sea breeze. and that's what we're seeing right now. nice clear skies out over san francisco. some of the smoke maybe moving in a loft and that means above a 7,000 feet or so. but down below, not an issue you can see in and around the fire in northern california. they've got some issues with some poor air quality. there you get to the bay area boy down below 9, the centers are picking up any problems with the air quality at all. your green, everywhere you go from the coast of the valleys. and usually it's the valleys and parts of the north it north bay that would suffer into these kind of conditions. but not for now. looks like tomorrow. another day we're going to see probably a stronger on shore wind and not only really at the fog and low clouds, but that on shore breeze. we'll bring without that nice fresh air from the ocean water that you keep your air quality looking good. the smoke from this fire looks like it's going to begin to turn more o

take a look at san jose. nowe have had some higher humidity thanks to the monsoon moisture and we're seeing the layer of clouds to start out with this morning in san jose. we're in the low 60s to start and we'll see those temperatures stay in the low 60s through about 8:00 and then we'll start to feel some temperatures warming up into the low 70s. today we'll actually be the coolest day of the week. look at the seven-day forecast at the bottom of the screen. today we're headed for the upper 70s. 75 in fremont. 83 in livermore. some of our warmest spots inland will reach into the mid 80s. much of the north bay seeing highs in the low 80s today and tomorrow more of the same but a few spots starting to come up a degree or two and that is the trend throughout the week. on wednesday we'll feel the warmer temperatures coming in for some of our valleys. we've been talking about how humid it is. it's still triggering spotty showers across the region especially over the tahoe area, where there's isolated showers popping u

those are two very busy streets in san francisco lieutenant jonathan baxter joining us now from san francisco, fire, you had to be pulled away just a moment ago, which just shows just how rapidly the situation is developing here. what can you tell us about this fire? first off? do we know anything about any injuries at this point? well, first off. we do have one injury. i'll get to that in a moment. this is a rapidly progressive third alarm fire with over 100 firefighters on scene as you see behind me, we have a three story multi residential building. there's lots of issues that went on here while we're attempting to rescue an individual, we did have some issues getting access getting into the building. while the fire is progressing from the first floor to the second floor to the third floor, that's why we have over 100 firefighters on scene battling this fire again. we did rescue one individual and i believe three of her cat. she is in a serious but not life threatening conditions. he's been transported to a local emergency room where she's continuing to get careful. those injuries. we have
