the crash happened on emeric avenue not far from rumrill boulevard in san pablo.re still searching for the driver this morning. police say the hit and run happened as robert armstrong was walking outside of his house. witnesses say he was thrown 15 feet in the air. he is still in critical condition this morning. police do not have a detailed description of the car or the driver. ghost ship fire, the department has faced criticism for its response to a large apartment fire on san pablowhere four lives were lost. ( steve ) the search is still on tonight for the suspect that ran over and killed a man during a car jacking in san lorenzo. the victim is 46-year-old james figueroa... who was the father of two children. the alameda county sheriff's office says the suspect took figueroa's pickup truck after tossing him out of the vehicle. investigators say figueroa was then runover by his own truck as the suspect escaped. this is all happened on via del sol yesterday at about 5-30 in the morning. that's not far hesperian boulevard. few details are available about the suspect and the pickup truck.
