police arrested a man in san pablo friday night. he's accused of shooting into someone's home.olice say the suspect lived inside the victim's backyard shed when searching the shed. they discovered a rifle and bullets. police say the man a convicted felon and is not allowed to own guns. california's insurance plan of last resort and that supporting those who can't get coverage under private insurers is getting a billion dollar bailout to pay out claims related to the los angeles fires. the fair plan as a pool that all major insurers pay and 2 and is designed to provide temporary coverage. but after the devastating fires, more people are relying on and officials say the poor is expecting a loss of 4 billion dollars. state officials announced this week that all insurers doing business in california must take on half the cost of bailing out that their plan. ultimately, those companies will be allowed to pass on some of the burden to policyholders in the form of fees. some lawmakers sounding the alarm on this move saying it will impact everyday californians who do have home insuranc
