yesterday a helicopter and coast guard cutter named pike searched the water of san pablo bay and they were pinpointing off the yacht harbor which is a private marina points west of san pablo and we understand the sources and the pilot of the cessna 210 may have been trying to take photos of the single engine k-20 and that's when they both came too close and clipped each other. they land had as address knot and this information has yet to be confirmed by the ntsb and it is still too earlier to determine a cause. we spoke with somebody who has been keeping tabs on the developments overnight. >> god bless them, done give up. -- don't give up but like i said there were quite a few vessels on sight immediately nothing came up. if something came up they would have immediately gotten them out of the water so i don't know. >> reporter: they are taking part in a boat race when the cessna went down. we don't know the identity of the pilot who went downtown and he was a very experienced pilot and they both said it was most likely an accident. of course we will keep you updated throughout the day and on ktvu channel 2 news at
