she is at the richmond-san rafael bridge. pretty dramatic the footage we've see. >> reporter: we've been in marin since about 4:00 this morning and the words of the day is cats and dogs. it has not stopped at all, the rain still pounding this morning. we were at the richmond-san rafael bridge where the lights were out at least an hour. some of them back now but when we were at the highest parts of the bridge, the wind pushed and pulled our news van as we tried to cross. it was treacherous driving out there this morning. i think you mentioned this, but i just got off the phone with the chp and they're telling me the bay bridge lights being affected as well. we also checked in at downtown san anselmo this morning where the rain was pounding there too and the shop owners have sandbags stacked up about two feet high in their doorways. they have the flood gates up to keep the rainwater out. they have been through this before. behind the stores, that's when the folks are keeping their eye on because there is a creek. it is swollen

it's right off the 101 freeway in san rafael. you can see several investigators still out here four hours later trying to piece together what happened. san rafael police tell us the shooting took place just before 1:00 a.m. here. there was a huge crowd in the parking lot when they arrived. officers say two men were hit by bullets. those men were transported to marin general hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. police have detained two other men at this point they are still trying to determine if and how they were involved. >> i can tell you as far as i have heard it sounds like this started as a physical altercation inside the club that may have spilled out into the parking lot. which culminate into shots being fired. >> reporter: police found several weapons on the scene. lieutenant told us there was another shooting here back in actually. that shooting was fatal. meanwhile investigators expect to be out of here for most of the morning. san francisco boulevard right now between anderson and 101 freeway will remain closed

san rafael 47. let's hope the cool night tonight will keep the snow around a little longer. ch out for fog around santa rosa, 43. milder for san francisco, oakland and pacifica only dropping down to the low 50s. so lots of talk about in just one picture because this tells me two things. one the storm track is far away from us in washington and oregon far away from the bay area. but it does show me that the active pattern is there and as soon as high pressure moves out we are going to tap into some of that moisture. it's not going to happen for the next several days. if you love today's weather you will love the top of next week. high pressure not moving. the storm track hundreds of miles away. it will be a sunny mild holiday season with many of you into the 70s on saturday and sunday. high pressure begins to move out monday and tuesday. it is gone by wednesday. that means lower pressure moves in. the storm track sags to the south. we likely will be the bull's eye coming up wednesday through friday. some computer models are saying several inches of rain in the bay area by the

high strong winds are here at the richmond/san rafael bridge. the national weather service says wind will pick up to 45 to gust of 65 miles an hour. the combination of wind and rain is dangerous especially with the cars on the road and officers say it's best to drive slowly like you're in fog and ice. trucks and high-profile vehicles should be careful on the bridges. the roads change with these conditions. >> we are expecting a large amount of water in a short period of time. that brings slippery roads. that means more accidents. >> reporter: along with traffic problems, accidents, high winds are also expected to bring mass power outages and that's because of downed trees and branches. so pg&e crews were busy yesterday cutting down trees and clearing excess debris. again, this wind isn't going away anytime soon. you can still see it is picking up here in this area and we are told that these high wind warnings are going to last until 11:00 today so again, be careful on those road as you drive to work this morning. live at the richmond/san rafael
