they were up there 70s here from oakland, sfo, walnut creek, san rafael, san jose, menlo park, santathe sonoma county airport hit 78 degrees, had a couple of records too. redwood city 75. that broke the old mark. sfo tied both going back to 1962 and oakland 70. that was a new record 67 2015 2015 was the january where we had no rain. so that makes some sense. the last rain of over a 10th of an inch in san francisco is one week ago today on the third at 18/100. no rain is forecast by the global models out 14 days. i mean it just looks just dry dry dry. we do get sunshine, but a little cooler here. the air aloft is starting to cool around 5000ft or so, but even with a north northeast breeze the wind will pick up tonight. midnight through 10 a.m. sunday. we get another wind advisory, mainly for the hills, but the key is though the air. the air aloft is starting to cool a little bit. so 30s 40s 50s on the temps. it will be another day of high temps above average. the coldest temps were south boulder creek also fell in scotts valley in there as well as santa clara. at one time campbell was

you see san rafael visibility now starting to drop off. we've been expecting this to develop overnight, starting to take shape in the north bay, 46 degrees in walnut creek and into san jose, currently 51 degrees. so there you see the visibility now starting to drop off in those north bay locations heading towards tomorrow morning. not only do we have the low clouds, but watch how they kind of linger into the afternoon, so that's going to keep our temperatures down tomorrow. we start the day in the 40s and 50s. we'll call them fog. cool temperatures with the low clouds kind of hanging on. highs in the 50s and near 60 around the inner bay. low 60s closer to san jose. now notice the rain averages. we got the surplus in northern california, southern california, barely any rain. and that's going to be a problem come tuesday as these offshore winds pick up around the bay area. we've had the benefit of some rain, so we're not expecting red flag warnings, but we may have wind advisories for the north bay and east bay hills on tuesday. southern cali

tomorrow morning we'll see those gusty winds pick up 47 in san rafael and a pretty view out towards san francisco, 51 degrees. as we take a look at some of the temperatures. now you can see out towards danville and napa, sonoma, even boulder creek up there in the santa cruz mountains seeing some 30s. however, at the same time, higher up in elevation, we've got winds sustained at 37mph at mount saint helena, gusting to 45. and it's going to be this region, atlas peak, mount saint helena, the higher peaks there of the north bay, where we get those wind gusts picking up. and for a time some of that could get down into the valleys near santa rosa and petaluma as well. 4 a.m. to about 9 a.m. tomorrow, also a little blustery, near the coast and near san francisco early in the morning. right there around 7 to 8 a.m. and then wind speeds should start to come down as we head through the afternoon. so if you don't have the wind tomorrow morning, it's going to be cold, especially interior east bay and locations south of san jose, where over the next couple of mornings patchy frost is possible. and

for santa rosa, san rafael, and even for san jose. you are at your top first warmest starts to the year on record. we're still feeling that warmth, although i wouldn't say it is warm out there. it's 50s. you still need to grab a warm jacket, but dress in layers. because in the sunshine, it feels really nice in the low 60s and the upper 50s. but again, it's going to continue to cool down overnight. we are going to feel those chilly temperatures, especially across the north bay communities. you'll see that cooler air in the color of blue. again, we will be seeing those morning low temperatures in the 30s across the north bay. low 40s elsewhere. again, you will need to bundle up, waking up early tomorrow morning. but tomorrow afternoon, once again, a rinse and repeat of what we felt today, we will be seeing those highs climbing back up to well above average. 5 to 10 degrees above average. tomorrow might be warmer today down across the santa clara valley. you could potentially be near 70 degrees in san jose. so i hope everybody again, can

central bay as we wake up to tomorrow morning, right now, 53 degrees in san francisco, about 52, in san rafaelin contra costa county, walnut creek, 50 degrees will likely see patchy fog there, too. by sunrise tomorrow morning and currently 52 degrees in san jose. so short term we'll be watching for the areas of night and morning fog. then by monday night and tuesday, some dry offshore wind picks up. but what is really missing from the forecast will be the rain chances, and you may be surprised to see just how long that will linger in our forecast. right now, down to a quarter mile visibility in santa rosa, we're starting to see low clouds, not just from the coast kind of spilling in across the bay, but we'll see those areas of fog forming across the inland valleys as well. and 7 a.m. tomorrow morning, you see how all the low clouds are kind of locked in over that monday morning commute and potentially impacting some arrivals into sfo for the morning. so call ahead on those flights if you are around our local airports during the day, we begin to see a little less fog, some drizzle on the coast
