christie smith is near the richmond san rafael bridge. tell us what's going on. >> good morning. i have to tell you we have been moving around all morning. we just moved here to berkeley where it's starting to come down. sort of a light rain. nothing really annoying. sort of a nuisance. it seems like the heavy rain is on the way. when we first arrived it was barely raining at all. it is causing problems already overnight out on the roadways. a big rig slid off the road in contra costa and smashed the front end of the truck. the driver hit his head, but is expected to be okay. meantime near places across the bay area like redwood city, sandbags are out. heavy rain and high tides may flood neighborhoods. that happened before, especially in low-lying areas and garages. neighbors being encouraged to pick up free sandbags and signs are already out that say flood along city streets. public work crews are out just about everywhere doing a little bit of that maintenance. things like trimming trees and clearing storm drains to make sure they do their best to keep the potential flooding do
