san ramon police say the driver was however not kidnapped and a language barrier is what made them feel something more nefarious was going on. it all happened following a car crash involving an suv and the amazon delivery vehicle at crow canyon road in san ramon valley boulevard. the amazon worker says the driver and passenger in the suv forced him to withdraw cash. but now police say there were no apparent threats or weapons used during the encounter. an investigation into all of this is still ongoing. in the south bay to parents in san jose are charged with murdering their 18 month-old daughter by exposing her to fentanyl and meth. according to police. 27 year-old derek ryo and 28 year-old kelly jean richardson had fentanyl an opioid in their systems at the time of their daughter's death in august. they then waited more than 12 hours before contacting police. a toxicology report showed the child had high levels of fentanyl in her system. ryo did not show up for an arraignment today. and the mother richardson is not yet in custody. if convicted, they face at least to 15 years to life i
