some of the information coming in today, bob in livermore, bev out towards san ramon.skies for the weather menu today. the reason being is high pressure is building in. these are the forecasted highs in santa rosa. 76 in san francisco. we'll continue to inch these upwards. even 84 at san jose. so a little warmer here. we lose a lot of the humidity. so it will be a drier pattern even though there's still patchy fog -- patchy fog. most of this is heading up to the pacific northwest. but it's stretching all the way to the hawaiian islands and it's coming up from the phillippines. it makes me a little nervous. but there's no signs of it now. there will be heavy rain up to the pacific northwest. high clouds, mainly to the north but i think those will thin out. we look for 70s and 80s, very close on the temperatures. usually there is a big difference. it looks like everyone will be around 82, 85, 86 inland. 70s for alameda. also 86 morgan hill. santa clara in there, cupertino, 83. woodside at 83. san mateo, redwood shores, foster city, palo alto, 70s. even 70s on the coast.

the commuter the san ramon valley is ok. in the south bay is still a pretty good commute for 101, especially for interstate 280 heading out toward cupertino. the marin drive time has not grown much it is right around 30 minutes from nevada to highway 37 >>will: cain man i spoke to us as a victim was shot on the sidewalk around 9:30 p.m. and died at a hospital shortly before midnight. i put a phone call into the san jose police department but i have not heard back from them. we do not have a motive for the shooting or any possible suspects. the man i spoke to said the victim lived at these were apartments and despite what many think he is a good kid and not a gang member. will tran, kron 4 news. >>darya: that comes after an officer involved shooting that left one person dead. three officers have been placed on administrative leave. that is the sixth officer involved shooting in san jose this year. there was also a fatal shooting of a hell's angel member over the weekend. steve tausan was killed at the funeral on saturday. the
