in the east bay. 50 mile an hour winds toppled a tree that killed a woman was killed at a san ramon golfhappened yesterday morning at about 11. officials say the 20 foot tall tree uprooted because of the weather conditons. the woman, who was 56 years old, was taken to the hospital after she was hit. she later died from her injuries. no one else was injured in what firefighters are calling a freak accident. and if you are in sonoma county, there is a flash flood advisor that will be in effect until 11:28 this morning. and there is a flash flood watch throughout the entire bay area this morning. it will remain in effect until this evening. happening now.the impact of all of the rain we have received is causing napa county flood control to close its flood gates for the frst time this season. take a look at this video. the napa county flood manager says the gates will prevent rising water from heading downstream. workers at riverpointe napa valley picked up wine country cottages and moved them away from the resort by the river. by saturday afternoon, 35 buildings were taken to higher ground.
