(jrstone) firefighters are scrambling to contain the charlie fire. the fast- moving brush fire broke out this afternoon in castaic, which is just north of los angeles. it scorched over 33-hundred acres since yesterday. and as of tonight, it had grown to at least three thousand acres...with only 10 percent containment. evacuations are in place for nearby neighborhoods. the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
