investigators are looking into the cause of his death. four other people living in the home were not hurt. so far there's no word on what sparked the fire. >>> it's a beautiful father's day out there. flames have already scorched at least 11,000 acres in beumont. more than 200 firefighters at -- are at the scene. so far no reports of injuries or property damage. >>> a good samaritan pulls a woman from a burning car in texas just in the nick of time. the woman lost control and crashed into a toll booth. the car is flipped over on the side. bystanders that were watching waiting for emergency response. and a bystander jumped into action. he broke the window of the car with a fire extinguisher. he pulled the woman out just seconds before the car went up in flames. >> he didn't give up. and i'm very thankful that he knew what to do and he did it. >> reporter: the good samaritan is a member of the texas national guard. he says it's the first time that he had to put his training to real life use. >>> rescue crews found some rope that matches the rope of the missing climbers. heavy snowfall and strong winds are causing them to halt the search. >>> what was supposed to be a relaxing father's day weekend on the water turns into a scary situation for a family in oregon. a chopper had to swoop in and help them after their kayak overturned. the mother and 14-year-old son were able to swim on shore. but the father and 12-year-old were swept downstream. no one was hurt and they were pulled to safety. >>> bernadette woods here with good news if you like this weather. it's going to that average still climbing up to 84 degrees. we're going way above that later on this week. 73 is where we sit right now, look at all of the 70s out there. 64 in ocean city with the cooler water still in the ocean and the winds coming off the ocean at the beach. but for the rest of us a little bit of a breeze out there. that's about it. so here's the heat and it's moveing in our direction a lot of the country is feeling this heat. 91 in kansas city. 87 -- 97 right now in phoenix. although the clouds start to come in and a chance for a couple of showers with this cold front, as soon as the cold front clears us those temperatures are jumping. it has cleared up a bit in the last couple of days but as it moves away still a chance for thunderstorms and showers and then those temperatures are in the 90s. starting-- well in the 80s excuse me for tuesday but 90s wednesday, thursday and friday. and there is a chance for afternoon shower or thunderstorms during that time frame, those chances are really going to increase friday into the weekend as we have a cold front come our way. so the forecast, on the water, southeast winds tomorrow. but with that front coming in we'll see winds starting to pick up tomorrow night and we'll see small craft advisories go into effect because of that. we'll see some clouds come in like last night with that southeasterly winds. tomorrow clouds mixing with sunshine at time but the chance for a shower. 8degrees for our high, -- 78 degrees for our high. that changes tuesday. 87 for our high, by the time we hit wednesday, 96
