san francisco at 50. san jose at 53. cinnamon ta rosa at 46. it has been a dry start to the water year. started october 1st. just one cent of average for santa rosa, san jose, san francisco. 0% for oakland. comparing that to last year, 49% last year. 3% san jose. 5% for oakland. it has been a dry start to our water year. it was a dry start last year but that doesn't necessarily mean it will be a dry water year, because last year by mid february,way were near normal for that rainfall amounts. after that of course we lad two river events and record rainfall for the rest of the winter and then into the spring. that got us out off or drought for the bay area as well as for the entire state. we hadn't seen drought free conditions since 2011 so even though it is dry right now, that doesn't necessarily mean well see below average rain amounts through the rest of the year. we need the rain. it does not look like it will come anytime soon. the ridge of high pressure in control for us. that means dry and quiet conditions through the week and into next wee

take a look at this view over the oakland estuary looking toward san francisco. cancer san francisco this morning. 54 degrees in san francisco, 43 santa rosa and mid-fifties in oakland. san jose at 57 and they winds are generally light and really tough out there in the way of visibility. here's a look at the 24 hour temperature change. livermore is a you degrees different but there is a look at the fog cover along the coast inside the bay. north bay, east bay down to the south bay and we look at the visibility there is a view of what is happening in the areas over the north bay. the ballet locations, they are all reporting visibility a quarter mile or less. san francisco right a half mile and the inner east bay also reporting quarter mile there. there is a dense fog advisory from the coast and our basic communities and into our valleys until 9:00 this morning. soap a couple hours and if i move in a little bit closer you can get a better idea of how widespread that dense fog advisory is. getting into the afternoon will go partly cloudy and temperatures will warm up. upper 60
