my colleague cbs 2 news anchor scott sanborn, joins us now with details on these new documents, scott? scott?karen, as we reported this summer, authorities told cbs 2 news that alexander kozak admitted to killing andrea farrington. now, we know a little more about what they're looking into as part of their investigation. detectives filed the warrants, hopingngo get evididce from cell phone records--and clothing and belongings taken from kozak the night he was arrested. you may remember, witnesses say they saw kozak gun down 20-year-old farrington while she was working at the children's night. police say kozak took off and eventually was arrested on interstate 80. warrants show that's when he told ficers farrington had texted him, breaking off their relationship. he says he snapped, went to his home in north liberty to get a gun and shoot her. police went to the s spect's home to speak with kozak's wife who confirmed kozak owned at least one gun. the newly unsealed warrants show police want to look through the phone records of farririton, kozak and his wife. police say the information
