among those speaking out - facebook's - sheryl sandberg and house minority leader nancy pelosi.the ncaa says it will consider north carolina as a host for championship events again after the state rolled back a law that limited protections for lgbtq people. today ncaa officials say they reviewed moves to repeal the so-called "bathroom bill" and replace it with a compromise law. the ncaa said the new law "meets the minimal ncaa requirements" while expressing some concerns about provisions within it.the statement says a majority of the board "reluctantly voted" to consider bids from north carolina. that state's governor spoke out today. "they recognized progress in the legislation and they recognized that even though it didn't have everything they wanted it was enough for them to come back and help us in the fight and to help us continue to improve our laws."
