meteorologist sandhya patel is tracking it for us. >> yeah, if you are stepping outside and you have to run some earned errands, you will want to hold off. we have numerous lightning strikes on live doppler 7 hd around the state so far, over 280 strikes. i will close into where it's been very active in the north bay. as a matter of fact, thunderstorms have been reported right around santa rosa, south santa rosa, sonoma avenue. we have been seeing some rain, in 20 minutes approximately .2 inch near st. helena. the rain has been coming in pretty heavily. as we pull out, you can see a lot more up to the north, around cloverdale, ukiah, number of lightning strikes from cloverdale south towards vallejo, 37 in the last half hour. i will take you into the napa area, fairfield, where they have been seeing lightning strikes as well. some rain around jefferson street, wine country avenue. as we head towards the fairfield area, i want to let you know that there are two lanes of west texas street closed due to ponding in the fairfield area, approximately half an inch of rain has fallen. urban an
