let's go to abc 7 news meteorologist sandhya patel. why so many spare the air days?sure with sinking air and as the air sinks it traps the pollutants right down near the surface, especially when you don't have the strong winds to mix out the air. right now, light winds pretty much keeping our skies hazy behind me. right now, let's take a look at a live picture. i will show you the haze in the atmosphere providing a little color as the sun has set from the east bay hills camera. we also have the high clouds around. spare the air alert up again tomorrow as dan mentioned. poor air quality inland east bay and santa clara valley and moderate air quality elsewhere. so no wood burning through tuesday. when you take a look at live doppler 7 hd, you will see those high clouds passing through, no rain on the horizon, at least not immediately. from the kgo roof camera you can see the haze there as well. temperatures right now 59 in san francisco, 53 oakland. currently in the upper 50s, san jose, half moon bay. nice view from the exploratorium camera. looking towards coit tower,
