we do want to bring in sandhya patel joining spencer christian in the weather center with more on the conditions surrounding this earthquake. >> let's take a look at this earthquake right now. i felted in the weather office here in san francisco and it was definitely a jolt. at 3:49 it was a magnitude 5.9 earthquake. the depth was about six miles, as you can see here. i will get you in a little bit closer, so you can kind of see where we are at and how many more aftershocks there were. that was the 5.9. there was a 4.2 at 3:59. there was another one at 4:11 of 3.6. so there were multiple earthquakes. obviously there was shaking going on around the state of california around the same time. there was one at 3:50, and that was about 4.8, just south of the walker earthquake. obviously there have been some aftershocks. the 5.9 earthquake south- southwest of smith valley. the indications are that it had some widespread intensity. it was felt in other parts of the state. i am actually working on trying to get that for you, but basically going back to the graphic here, as we take a look, 5.9
