sandhya patel is tracking all of it. sandhya: that's right. i want to show you the latest on ida.has weakened to a tropical depression. heavy, pounding rain and flash flooding continues along the gulf coast. made landfall as a category four in louisiana with 170 mile an hour plus winds. it is now packing winds of 45 miles an hour as a depression moving north northeast at nine. on this path, rainfall, flooding will continue. there is still a risk of tornadoes in that area. it will weaken and continue to fall apart as it moves out by midweek across much of the northeast -- the carolinas. definitely something to watch. also watching the smoky skies. this is from prospect in the sierra nevada right now where it is hard to see. winds here, the onshore winds, the same wind direction pushing all of our smoke in that direction. they do have a red flag warning until 11:00 p.m. wednesday for the tahoe area. combined with low humidity, it means any fire, as we have seen this happen, will rapidly grow in size and intensity. that is a big concern, especially if new fires break out. here it is
