. >> meteorologist sandhya patel is here with what's in store for the rest of the week. h, we're going to be seeing quite some changes. but right now, i want to show you the clear views from our towercameras. absolutely stunning views for october. visibility is terrific. we don't have any fog to speak of. here is the view. it's a very glassy one from our emeryville camera tonight through early tomorrow morning. we do have elevated fire danger as gusty offshore winds have developed in the hills. tomorrow a little cooler, mainly sunny. and then sunday. we're talking about a chance of drizzle and showers, and it is looking more promising for the weekend. looking at the relative humidity values as these downsloping winds continue. relative humidity is going to fall 3 a.m. down to 24% in fairfield, 34. in napa, you can see in the teens as we head towards noontime for many of our inland areas. and that continues into the afternoon. so even though there are no red flag warnings and we're not expecting strong winds, it's the wind direction combined with dry fuels and low humidity

so let's get straight to abc7 news meteorologist sandhya patel. finally with cooler weather on the way, sandhya, i know it's about time, right? dan and ama, this heat wave has dragged on for days. it has been eight days and today we set records once again. that swelter bringing 102 to santa rosa, breaking the old record 108. in san rafael. you will notice it was hot in oakland. 95, san jose, 102 degrees, breaking the previous record of 94. we take a look at some of the other high temperatures, and it did get up into the triple digits around concord livermore, 92, in san francisco and 103 in cloverdale. let's check out the 24 hour temperature change. this is encouraging. down 16 degrees in san francisco, you're 14 degrees cooler in half moon bay, 9 degrees drop in oakland, and we're going to continue with that drop in temperatures. the winds have been picking up onshore in the hills 30 miles an hour. even at the lower elevations. so our big story, of course, is this heat wave finally coming to an end. dan. and nice to see. yeah, we're getting a brea

tim, let's bring in abc seven news meteorologist sandhya patel. sandhya milton is far from finished tonight. that's right. >> ama, just getting started with milton. take a look. flash flood emergencies in effect. right now as milton is still holding to on hurricane strength. it has brought damaging winds across the region, making landfall earlier today. this was near siesta key, florida, as a category three hurricane with 120 mile an hour winds widening. the picture her. multiple watches and warnings in effect, the biggest issue right now is the flash flooding that is ongoing. current stats 90 mile an hour winds 125 mile an hour gusts. it is moving to the east northeast at 16. but as i mentioned, still a cat one expected to weaken further as it moves out over the atlantic by friday, becoming a depression. it is going to continue to dump more rain and cause more severe flooding across the region. we're talking 8 to 14in, up to 18in in isolated spots. the storm surge 6 to 9ft in the highest locations. this is going to be one for the record books. let
