yeah this morning, sandra mcclary, has some serious legal troubles under her belt. this morning we learned according to "the capital gazette" that this woman was arrested last september in connection with a series of armed robberies. so her legal drama not over. far from it in fact. and no wonder neighbors were so stunned. finding an infant on the side of the road just adds to this growing mystery. the mother, 26-year-old sandra mcclary police say left her baby on this seat in a car seat carrier around midnight. a passerby, bishop showell was on his way home from church when he found her. >> she started crying, when she saw the other people around, she just started crying. we said, wow, i don't know who would have done something like that. >> reporter: now, there's so much more we don't know. including a motive. why this baby was left on the side of the road. first the mother apparently told police the father was supposed to have had the baby but the story did not pan out after police tracked her car to this area on the same night that the baby was abandoned. luckil

authorities charged sandra mcclary with child neglect and reckless endangerment. now we get a chance to hear the first 911 calls. diane cho is live in pasadena. you got a chance to listen to the calls? diane: i did leon. you can hear how concerned the neighbors were in the community after realizing that they found a babysitting here in a baby carrier on the side of the road. anne arundel county police say the 6-week-old baby girl was out for an hour before the neighbors discovered her on the july 4th holiday. you hear the baby crying in the background in the 911 call. >> anne arundel county 911. do you need police fire, ambulance? >> i have a problem here. >> okay diane: now the child's mother 26-year-old sandra mcclary is facing child endangerment charges after leaving the daughter here. >> we look around and we don't see anybody. diane: police say she called claiming to be the mother of the child after seeing the baby photo on the social media sites. >> i'm shocked. diane: mcclary told authorities different versions about what happened and they were able to dete

but first, sandra mcclary had a bail review hearing in district court this morning where the judge kept her bail at $500,000 based on the charges in this case. meanwhile, hher is now speaking out on her behalf. she says she wants to shed light on a situation that recently made headlines putting the spotlight on her daughter. >> it's really upsetting. diane: her daughter sandra mcclary has been charged after authorities say she left her six-week-old baby girl on the side of the road. >> i'm not trying to discussfy in any way but it's just it -- i'm not trying to justify in any way but it was a bad situation. diane: mcclary told investigators she was heading to a party on july 4th when the two got in an argument after she got lost and told authorities it turned to a physical altercation. >> my daughter was you know in great fear of her life. diane: in the document the court document said that mcclary took the baby carrier out and placed the baby on the ground next to the van as the two continued to argue. >> there was an argument evidently over the baby. she tried to get away from him. di
