's pilot program could mean good things for passenger boarding times in the future. it's being tested in nearby cities like mountain view and palo alto and today will be the first day in sunnyvale. 66% of delays, according to caltrain, are because of passenger boarding issues. they said allowing bicyclists to board first, could help with this. >> getting your bike up to caltrain, especially with luggage, we need a clear passageway to get through. if letting bikes on first allows for that, that would be great. >>> issues related to bike boarding caused 3000 minutes of delays. starting today, bicyclists at these stations and southbound at the 23rd street station can board bike cars first on weekdays from 6:00 until 9:00 a.m. the
