sandra: janice, it is sandra smith. obviously the governor is telling residents of florida to prepare for the worst here. what is the best-case scenario? if we don't see it make landfall what is a good scenario look like considering the winds that we're seeing right now? >> the good scenario is more of, offshore, way offshore hurricane that doesn't bring those, those tightly-packed winds in the core, center of the storm, which are 140 mile-an-hour sustained winds. that stretches for 20 miles away from the center of the storm, that eye, that very calm area of the storm. so if that stays off like 50 miles off the shore, then, we're in better shape. but all of the reliable forecast models are showing, if not a very close landfall, just a scrape along the coast of those hurricane forms winds, which is the worst-case scenario. listen, i will be first one to tell you hope we're wrong. i hope tomorrow people are mad at us. harris: yeah. >> but we have to err on the side of caution, and prepare for the worst. sandra: governor i
