it's doing an assessment of all of the different hazards that sanfrancisco faces. it's identifying who is vulnerle and thvulnerable and understandg what to do as a city and how we can impact the ability to move forward and it's putting together goals and strategies and then sharing it and there's an important function here which is also sharing with the community and doing public and state engagement before the plan is approved and then after we hear back from fema and after the board approves it as it moves forward. just walking through, here are the goals of the plan, the new things we've added. we've been concerned with reducing risk and now we're focusing a little more on building capacity and collaborations and it's no longer the idea that you address one has without thinking about other hazards. so if we retrofit a building, we think not just from an earthquake perspective but from the perspective incorporat abils or sea-level rise perspective. for the first time, we identified a specific goal around addressing equitable impacts and then increasing public awa

, civic center and western addition and these are low-income communities of colour in some of sanfrancisco's most vulnerable neighborhoods. almost all of the census tracks in the area are identified as communities of concern. in response to the feedback that we heard in june, evacuee been workinwe've beenworking with ann this project. this assessment includes gaining a better understanding of the existing racial and social despairties, understanding who bins and who might be burdened by a project and finally identifying the strategies to advance social and racial equity. so as part of the work, we started by identifying specific goals, displacing people of colour and vulnerable populations and decrease small businesses in and adjacent to the hub, increasing affordable housing for low housing residents and ensuring the washingtonsidewalks are safe and comfortable for anyone and engage vulnerable populations to ensure that they benefit from investment opportunities. so we anticipate that this project could provide the following benefits. first, more housing, more housing near transit and provi
