just parenthetically, you read about station 13, on sansome and the city, in conversations with the developer, we have been sharing the conversations we've garnered and we feel that puts the city in the best position to assert its prerogative which is to expect a full and complete facility no matter who provides it. >> great. thank you for such a thoughtful response. thank you for bringing up the pg&e and how that's going. that's -- this is not the first time that we've heard that, actually, and we don't meet that often, so we don't talk about bonds that often, so the fact that we've heard it multiple times i think is interesting. i think as we look at the work plan or the c.s.a. draft work plan, we can look at that. >> yeah. the challenge ultimately is if we have to expend funds or seek to expend funds to accomplish work that we really believe is be-holden to pg&e to provide, that puts us in an uncomfortable position of having to collect satisfactions through some legal action which may not yield your point, i th the same letter went to the mayor and the governor as to the board, from my exp

take the building on sansome and battery with the hotel and residential attached and some commercial. how does that allocation done and is there any favoritism offered in any way where there's a mixed use with residential where's desirable. >> in terms of how we mix it up the allocation is only required for the office portion. it's not uncommon for a project that requires an office allocation to also acquire other authorization for the other project whether it's conditional use or large office authorization and those authorizations look more at the total project. the office allocation is focussing just on the office portion of the project so whether it's an office project or a mixed use the allocation is just for the office. so to your question about whether or not there's favoritism given to mixed use or certain uses, there's nothing specifically within the criteria of prop m that caused that out. if the planning commission think that's an important aspect of it they have the prerogative to have that opinion and have that affect their vote. >> if there's a million square foot project

what is in front of the board today are just class two bike lanes on battery and sansom in m.t.a. jurisdiction. they are a one-way street, two lanes in each direction, as well as vallejo street and davis, which are one lane in each direction, more local streets, and the idea is to improve conductivity within the neighborhood, which is separated from the waterfront, and the topography of telegraph hill from downtown. as well as trying to take some pressure off of the embarcadero as we look for more substantive infrastructure. i'm also managing the embarcadero hanson project, which is aiming to add a protected to wait bikeway on the waterside. that project will take some time really the intent is to get onto the ground improvements in the area both on the embarcadero at the sight of the hit and run, and within the neighborhood. so over the past four to six months, we have quickly tried to do robust outreach to the neighborhood. we have had held four community meetings, we had a mailer to a large project area which was followed by a well attended walking tour of the area in the proje
