we are in some parts of the bay area like santa rosa. nearly rain to catch up to normal for this time of year but then we're okay in oakland. we're still at a surplus of almost an inch and a half. in san francisco, we're at a surplus of 1.77. we see concord and san jose are going into a rainfall deficit. and you can see how those numbers compare to normal. san jose needs the most amount of rain to catch up to normal. then when we look at our outlook, we are seeing for the month of march, the climate prediction center is showing cooler than normal weather, along with rainfall that we could see equal chances of our rainfall making it toward average. it does look like just to the north, there could be some slightly above average rainfall. we are also seeing that rain staying to the north of us as we go through the forecast. what we will see will be kind of the outer edges of that weather system. cooler temperatures, and we may even see some small hail, especially on 48. this basically ending with colder temperatures. snow on some of our low
