santa rosa 70 degrees. here is the satellite showing you a dry weather pattern that's here to stay for tomorrow and into the weekend. our current wind reports here. they have backed off a bit. you can see a lot of calm wind reports out toward novato, out toward oakland, a northerly breeze in concord, about five miles an hour. and some more reports here. the strongest winds, at least on these panels. sfo at about ten miles an hour, and san jose at about 12mph. current numbers out there. we are heading into a mild wednesday evening. santa rosa right now 62 san jose 63 degrees and concord in the lower 60s. here's our live camera looking out toward san francisco bay. there's alcatraz front and center and also out toward the golden gate bridge. so with this offshore wind pattern, it's actually cleared everything out. so no clouds for us. and we're going to hold on to mostly clear skies, but some chilly conditions. first thing tomorrow morning. temperatures will be in the 30s and the 40s. so decreasing winds for

santa clara valley. you can see right there. they've got you've got lesser winds. and so they're not under advisory status. but and some of the men enter valleys, inland valleys. we could see 40 mile an hour winds 50 mile an hour winds in some areas. here's the area. the beach hazards statement all along the pacific ocean and it will allowed to expire soon enough. high pressure is the dominant weather feature and that continues day after day after day and will stay dry, at least for the next couple of weeks or so. we shall see. but in the meantime, our temperatures tomorrow, a little cooler than today, but not a lot. many areas in the 60's and san francisco in the 60's 50's and 60's right along the bay shoreline as well as this as a pacific shoreline. so we're seeing really tranquil weather. slight cooling tomorrow, but nothing dramatic. still, 63 in palo alto and down in san jose. 67 degrees. 65 from milpitas in 67 in santa clara, moving to the east bay, you see very similar numbers. lot of areas in the

we're joined by the mayor of santa monica, lana . northern part of that city has an evacuation order. about how many people live in that evacuation zone, and has everybody gotten out safely? >> so we've evacuated roughly 30,000 people. the mandatory evacuation remains the same as it was throughout the night, which is north of san vicente boulevard. the voluntary evacuation zone remains, which is montana avenue to san vicente. we're advising people to prepare themselves if they have, you know -- they need extra time in those zones to prepare voluntary to evacuate. that has not changed. i'm here at the hoa. we're going to be getting some additional updates this morning. so far our evacuation has not changed and it has not touched the santa monica canyon, but as you know, we are providing regional support in terms of firefighters and we are receiving regional support in terms of law enforcement as well. >> what is your biggest concern right now, and what's your plan for today? >> i mean, my biggest concern is we do not have ways to pred

santa clara county and hca. hca health care announced today a formal agreement for the county to buy regional med for $150 million. the deal, which is subject to certain closing conditions and regulatory approval, is expected to close april 1st. over the years, due to budget issues and low profit margins, hca has downgraded regional med's trauma level and its comprehensive stroke and other cardiac services. the county says once it assumes hospital operations, it will restore level two trauma care and other critical services immediately. electric cars are going to have more places to charge in the south bay. south bay congressman sam liccardo joined fellow lawmakers today, announcing a $12 million federal grant to fund 237 new charging ports across san jose. more than half of them will be installed at libraries and community centers. parks. recent survey from the public policy institute of california found that nearly half of californians are seriously considering an electric car, but the charging logistics remai

in santa cruz. jocelyn moran, nbc, bay area news. the embattled sheriff of san mateo county is striking back at the county that's trying to oust her. sheriff cristina corpus has filed a $10 million claim against san mateo county back in november. you may recall the county released an independent report that accused sheriff corpus of workplace misconduct. it suggested corpus fostered a culture of fear and retaliation, and that the sheriff may have had a romantic relationship with her chief of staff. sheriff corpus has denied all accusations against her. her attorney says the report was biased and part of a, quote, evil scheme to force her out of office. corpus, his legal team, also alleges she's been targeted because she is the county's first latina sheriff. in march, san mateo county voters will decide in a special election whether to grant authority to the board of supervisors to remove an elected sheriff and across the bay to the embattled antioch police department. the feds are now stepping in to
