we're here on "comunidad del valle" with john gundry, the superintendent of the santa clara county office of educationand gerry lopez is the principal of opportunity youth academy here in the south bay. welcome to the show. gerry lopez: good to be here. john gundry: thank you. damian: all right, tell us first of all about the opportunity youth academy and who it helps. gerry: the opportunity youth academy, oya, is a re-engagement program that services students from 16 to 24 who, for whatever reason, didn't complete their diploma. and so we have four locations throughout santa clara, and we are reaching out to them.
