here is what it looks like in the santa clara valley. there is plenty of sunshine for the majority of us. the marine layer has been filled in. that is not going to last much longer. we have more sunshine than anything else with just a few high clouds. we are in the mid-to-upper-50s. we have a little bit of a head start on yesterday's numbers because we did not have to get as cold thanks to the clouds and numbers will go to the mid-70s for our warm or locations. we are in the low 70s for santa rosa and san rafael. the first weather system of the week comes in right here tonight. that one falls apart. you notice the clouds? we will see the trailing end of the cold front sweep across the bay early tomorrow morning. that likely means that we have a few high clouds, maybe a little bit of a breeze and it will break up the marine layer. it is doubtful we will get the same show tomorrow. that is one thing that can typically make forecasts a little easier. oftentimes, that will break it up. a little bit of light rain for your week but not a whole

going before. 11 o'clock this morning, 10 42, the quake hitting and you can see really the santa clara valley, the place that was located with activity there. and right along the calaveras fault, the right where meets up right along the hayward fault. right in that joint section. that's where we saw the quick take place. we have after the 308 this afternoon, the upper center of these quakes about 9 miles east of 7 trees in the santa clara valley. and well, they continue to shake there. you can see that line of quakes and that is all along the calaveras fault. the larger a yellow spot representing the area that we saw the larger quake this morning. that's a 5.0. one is a fairly shallow quake. it just about the 5 miles deep means that the energy made its way to the surface pretty quickly. but we've had numerous aftershocks after that. most of these have been fairly light get just after 3 o'clock this afternoon. we have some more shaking going on. there's a chance we could see more aftershocks. fact, there's a one in 100% chance that we could see a much larger earthquake after this one. all righ
