again, we've been up in the santa cruz mountains this entire week. we know about the mudslide between sugar loaf and vine hill road. tuesday afternoon, cal tran has been trying to fix. we're trying to figure out if that mudslide is related to that or it's completely new mudslide. just driving through to santa cruz mountains this week we've seen smaller mudslides all over. and i mean all over. when we were on bear creek road we drove for 20 minutes the other day and there are several, at least a dozen mudslides, instans where you had the boulders coming out. the ground is saturated up here, it's very wet and unfortunately it's conducive to this type of thing happening. but as you can see, we're in the back up, trying to get to summit road which is shut down right now in the southbound direction, and as i mentioned, granite creek road shut down in the northbound direction. so, getting over the summit in the santa cruz mountains via highway 17 is not happening right now. so, if you have any plans to get to santa cruz this afternoon, you might want to be
