santa rosa. most of the action staying up towards mendocino county here to wrap up the weekend. so the seven day forecast shows the next window of opportunity arriving as we go into tuesday which looks to be the wettest day of the week. a little breezy tuesday night. wednesday some showers and we'll start to clear as we go through the week. and here's how things look with that tuesday to wednesday storm. as it begins to approach we'll begin to see the potential i think for most of the bay area to get at least 0.25 to 0.5 inches of rain. and clearly on this map you see both of these long-range models show the hills of the north bay and santa cruz mountains actually see about a half-inch of rain. still cold enough by the way to drop more snow in the sierra tuesday night through the day wednesday. be happy to see that, another foot of snow heading towards the sierra. that really is the one weather system of the week. a few systems pass on by. and as we head towards monday of the following week, storm doesn't look like it's shutting down. more opportunities there. maybe not showing
