we're going 84 today that's not bad. santa cruz should be 75. t into the 70s, still below average though. we're going 75 today but temperatures continue to be from two to eight below. nothing is changing until later in the week. i'm clicking but i can't find it. there you go. we do have low clouds, fog and drizzle, drizzle out there. sunny then breezy to windy. already gusts up to 30 in parts of the delta. i think after wednesday we will start to see a little decrease in some of the cloud cover. can't lose the low up in the pacific northwest. keeping us cool and them as well. gradual warming starts to take place. this is controlling almost the entire country expect right here. 50s on the temps, everyone says cloudy to mostly cloudy. it's overcast with a west wind for almost everybody. there in lies a rather cool day for many with temperatures as you saw remaining below average. weak temperatures in the north but the mere fact that it's there keeps that fog about 2,000 feet and has no problems flying across the coastal hills. sunny for most today,

society ran camps for kids with diabetes abruptly cancelled several of their camps in the santa cruz mountains. we go san jose. what's the explanation? >> reporter: well, we would like to hear an explanation from the diabetes society. the sign is still up on the building behind me. now they are working with a law group to figure out what's next. for 150 kids have that one chance to spend a couple of nights away from mom and dad without putting their lives on the line. that dream is a bust for this summer. this 11-year-old knows exactly what she's missing. her mom scrambled as soon as she found the camp was cancelled. she did get to do regular camp activities with medical staff on site who helped her manage her blood sugar testing and insue lynn. this is something the younger kids can't do alone without mom and dad. if it's not done right they can go into diabetic shock. but the drama is people who would not ask about her insulin pump and enjoy regular kid stuff about an hour from home. >> there was so many people that i knew that were is going this year. >> we were very involved with them. and we lov
