[applause] sara bon-harper: what a warm welcome. thank you. it is a pleasure to be with the group that no so much about monroe. glad tod to be here and be finding out there is always something new in history, and that is what we will talk about today. everybody hold your breath. thes monroe's highland is current name for the property. about a year ago, we reclaimed that historic name for the site. james monroe after dithering for would nameecided he his property highland, and that is what he called it. lawn, -- ashlawn was a later name for the property, a 19th-century name, and my predecessor as executive director there had the foresight to put the highland back in, so wn highland name existed for a while, and we came out on the other side of that and in april last year reclaimed the historic name. that is a signal of our clear focus on the row and his legacy and the messages we can share about that, so are sure you a little bit of the history there goin
