fox25's daniel miller is here with how the state is bracing for another 7 inches of rain moving in, daniel. >>daniel: that's right, sara. major interstates in south carolina are closed right now because the water is dangerously high, and the rain is not about to stop. at least eight people have died in the carolinas from the storm in the carolinas from the school districts there are closed today and curfews have been put in place. south carolina officials are warning residents not to drive at all. their power lines beneath the surface and bacteria building in the water. and in south carolina, columbia and in south carolina, columbia, water customers will have to wait up to four day for their water to be restored. city of columbia officials say they will be facing real danger for weeks. >> we know that the challenge is not over. and the danger to life and property does not end when the >> crew have rescued hundreds of people stranded in their cars and homes. and as you mentioned sara it is not over yet. the area will get another 7 inches of rain through tonight. we will continue to follow the story all morning. in the n
