. >> reporter: gunfire so close to sara o'brien's home in this close-knit co-op community on rich road is not the norm. >> i was inside last night and i heard some yelling and some shots. >> my husband heard three shots, pause, or gap, interval and then five more additional gunshots. >> reporter: this woman who did not want us to show her face on camera says gunshots seemed to come out of nowhere and she didn't hear noise from a fight that apparently broke out near her house and this synagogue before the shots were fired. >> extremely quiet. we hadn't heard any noise prior to that. >> reporter: there was a party at the synagogue last night, one neighbor describes it as a hip hop party. the two teens who were shot ages 16 and 19 are expected to survive their injuries but this shooting has shaken this community and it will change the way the synagogue does business with outside groups. the mishkan torah synagogue released this statement expressing regret over the incident. saying it had no knowledge or or involvement in the event except it had rented its facilities to an outside communit

sara bloomquist has the details. >> reporter: that is right dr. william o'brien iii was arrested this morning and the fbi also picked up his receptionist. both appeared in federal court and they are accused of operating a pill mill, selling prescriptions of large quantities of highly addictive drugs. brian williams iii a doctor and his receptionist are accused of selling prescriptions out of two medical offices, the first of 98 hundred block in northeast philadelphia the second on the unit block of rolling lane in levittown. according to the federal indictment on multiple occasions last year, dr. o'brien sold undercover fbi agents prescriptions for dangerous, addictive drugs $200 bought a prescription pour a large amount of oxycodone or xanex. >> we see physicians writing prescriptions for these dangerous and addicting drugs. they right them in exchange for cash. >> they allege that dr. o'brien falsified medical records to make it seem like they received examinations and medical treatment when in fact they did not. >> they screened customers and took what the pai

sara bloomquist is live now with more on the investigation that involves multiple agencies including the fbi. >> reporter: dr. william o'brien 3iii 3 was arrested for selling pills. dr. william o'brien iii are accused of operating the so-called pill mill out of offices, at the 100 block of bustleton avenue in philadelphia and another one in levittown buck county the feds pulled off an undercover investigation and alleged on multiple occasions dr. o'brien sold agents prescriptions for large quantities of medication including oxycodone and xanex. >> you come in and pay $200 and leave with a prescription in your hand and that is for controlled substances like oxy oxycodone and other methamphetamine. >> the u.s. attorney says that they screened the patients and took what the pair referred to as co-pays, the $200 for the prescription. and o'brien was known to accept sexual favors for prescriptions and made such an offer to a female fbi agent. >> she posed as a prescription drug seeker and told her he would give her an increased quantity of prescription if she would perform oral sex on him. >> now the federal government estimates
