i am sarah caldwell. victims were gunned down inside a home in north carey street early this morning. lead i-team investigator jayne miller is live in pigtown. >> we are at the 1200 block of south carey street, not far from the sports stadium in baltimore. this has been a very active scene this morning. police ascribed the dead as a man and woman in the 20s. neighbors say they were the parents of an infant who was left unharmed. police received a call to this address at 6:00 this morning with a report of a disturbance. neighbors are shocked by the violence. police say the suspect was caught on the scene come out of a window -- coming out of the window. >> it is too early to tell what the motive is because this was not a random act. these individuals were the target of this suspect. >> my older 2 children grew up

sarah was diagnosed with leukemia and t-cell lymphoma back in april. her parents initially consented to chemo, but after the six weeks they ordered doctors to stop. her doctor says the hospitals at the committee plea with their parents to resume treatment. with her cancer growing and becoming more and resistant to treatment, the hospital then filed a lawsuit seeking emergency guardianship over sarah. " her family is advocating for what they think is at her best interest. " " however, it's our obligation to do what's ethically and legally right by the child. " >>darya: according to court records sara's parents " belief chemotherapy was killing her. " the court also receive a note from sarah stating " please let my parents take care of me. i felt like running and playing and working again. " on july 31st, an ohio judge denied the hospital's application for guardianship. the hospital is now appealing that decision. >>james: the california department of education released $25 million to help restore money take away from preschool programs during the econom
