nbc's sarah rosario is in san antonio with the latest. what can you tell us? >> federal charges are expected today against that driver as you mentioned. an agent says the people found inside the back of that 18 wheeler are the victims of human smuggling, most of them in their 20z and 30s. one even as young as 10 years old. cops were called, we're told several people tried to escape from the truck running into the woods nearby. others hitching rides from people who came to get them. today federal investigators say they plan to continue searching for those victims and say more arrests are to come. >> with signs held, protesters called for immigration reform in san antonio, texas, after dozens of migrant workers were found smug n smuggled in a tractor-trailer with no air conditioning on saturday night. >> we arrived on the scene and found eight people dead in the back of that trailer. >> another died at the hospital. police were tipped off by a walmart employee who called 911 after someone escaped and begged for water. >> again, they were very hot to the touch. s

. >> sarah rosario has more. >> aaron and eun, federal investigators say the people found in the back of an 18-wheeler at this walmart parking lot are the victims of human smuggling. one even as young as 10 years old. when the cops were called, they ran into the nearby woods. hitching for rides and they were called here to pick them up. federal investigators say they plan to continue searching for the victims and saying more arrests are to come. the driver of that truck, 60-year-old james bradley jr. will be charged today. he's from clear water, florida. eight people were found dead inside the truck with no ac. a ninth victim died at the hospital. a man inside the truck escaped and begged for truck. the rest of the people were rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. we know that some of the people were from mexico and guatemala. as authorities work to make more arrests in this case, the border patrol says they've made four other truck seizures this month alone in texas. the survivors are fighting for their lives in the hospital. reporting from san antonio, sarah rosario
