back to you guys. >> cnns sarah sidner reporting there. now, a look at protesters arrested after the curfew. are some of them professionals and what is their agenda? don lemon posed that question to our legal experts. >> reporter: last night, the protesters were different. sarah is seeing people from ferguson. the protesters last night didn't look like they were from the neighborhood, the usual protesters. are they professional protesters we are looking at? most of the people in the neighborhood were like, what are you doing? >> i don't know who the individual protesters are. i know certainly, there are people with a point of view. the point of view, there shouldn't be a curfew. laws are laws, rules are rules, they should be obeys. interestingly enough, the concern is that it's having a big economic impact upon the community. businesses are suffering. people are not out in the open. people are not gathering at night. it's having a big hardship there. i'm not suggesting their business people. i don't know who they are. at some point and tim

sarah sidner filed this report from the days after the quake hit. >> reporter: rescue workers in three south asian countries are working tirelessly to dig out survivors like here where more than 100 people are trapped. >> the damage caused is mostly in the mountainous area. in certain areas of the entire villages they have collapsed in certain areas almost the entire town has vanished from the scene. >>> the earthquake struck just before 9:00 their time saturday morning. the power of the quake caused buildings to sway for about a minute in the capitals of afghanistan, pakistan and india. an area some 625 miles across. most of the devastation occurred in the mountains of northern pakistan. the urgent task of pulling the injured began. >> and we have basically makeshift hospitals to provide medical aid to those who are injured. >> reporter: in south asian the rescue work is grueling. some of it is being done by hand. some by bulldozers but all with a strong hope of saving those still trapped in the piles of rubble. in pakistan's capital islamabad, ultra sensitive -- as time passes more a

joining me sarah sidner live in baltimore along with hln legal analyst joey jackson. we in this battle of words already? has it actually becomes battle of paperwork and is there a response from the prosecutor about this demand? >> there's no response yet. the prosecutor has been pretty clear in saying she does not want to try this case in the media. although she did read the charges out in her initial press conference when she announced that she was going to be charging these six officers with very serious charges including second-degree murder. what we have seen is a motion filed, 109 pages, by the attorneys for the six officers and really, what's listed in that, some of the main points have to do with conflicts of interests they see and are alleging, relationships she has, for example, with the attorney for freddie gray's family, relationships she may have with potential witnesses, the fact that her office went in and did its own investigation into the case separate from the police investigation. so there are some things that have come up. even the relationship with

let me bring in my colleague, sarah sidner, who just interviewed someone who went undercover and infiltrated one of these gangs. tell me what they said. >> it's an absolutely fascinating look at how these gangs work. he talked about the fact that you heard police saying five gangs -- sort of said look there are five gangs involved with this. just three of those gangs were sort of feeder gangs like you have in baseball where you have a team that's the team that's the feeder team to the big leagues. then there were two that were the big leagues. they are very well put together. they think through all of these things. they're looking at who they're going to let into their gang. it's fascinating what he said caused this. we heard from the police earlier it may have been caused by a fight over a simple thing like a parking space. we've seen those in reality between regular folks. this was between gang members. but this person who has infiltrated gangs for nearly five years, but is now out of doing that, and has been very involved in helping law enforcement. he said there was a very different reas

i want to get to cnn sarah sidner now. >> reporter: we just arrived on the scene. there are about eight fire trucks flashing lights there are so many vehicles here to rescue and try to help the situation. it's amazing. this is rare. i have never seen so many all in one place. obviously we are just hearing from the mayor that there were seven cars that derailed. one of them split in half, the engine as well. i will step out of the shot so you can get some sense of this. if you're looking to the right of your screen, just beyond where these fire trucks are, there's a held continuer in the air that is over the actual scene of where the derailment is. we have got a lot of roads that are blocked off. the residents are walking back and forth a bit stunned about what is going on in this neighborhood here in philadelphia. but there are a plethora of emergency vehicles waiting to help anyone who may still be inside. this train headed towards new york from washington d.c. a lot of people will take this commuter train. we are just waiting to see if we get more information as

cnn's sarah sidner shows us. >> we are standing on the corner of west north and pennsylvania. there have been several arrests overnight here alone and in other parts of the city. the curfew came at 10:00. some people decided, most people in this area decided to go home. there were a handful of people that decided not to. a bit of a dramatic scene a man arrested lying on the ground and dragged from one point to the other. it also appeared that he had ingested perhaps some pepper spray and was having difficulties with that and they ended up taking him away after arresting him and putting him into an ambulance and taking him for medical attention. most of the other protesters who were arrested or those who decided to defy the curfew have been taken in without major incident. the last person we saw, a young lady who says she was arrested down the street didn't want to get into the van. that went on for a bit of time but now they have taken her in as well. we now know there are at least a half dozen arrests here and there were arrests in other parts of the city as well. back to you

cnn's sarah sidner is very close to the crash site. she has a look at the wreckage and more importantly the investigation. sarah, what's the latest? >> reporter: what we've been seeing all morning is investigators coming out. some of them definitely amtrak because we've been seeing their cars drive up and looking very closely at the rail all the way up to where the train derailed. i want to give you a look at that so you can see as far as our camera can see. you can see some of the investigators still standing there now. they've been on that spot for quite some time. and we keep seeing people sort of walk through and look very closely at the rail there right at that really sharp turn that curve. and you can see just past that curve you will see the first or the -- or what turns out to be the last car that derailed of the seven cars that derailed. we've been also watching as they had firefighters out here. they had a canine who jumped into that last car there seemingly looking for anyone who was still left. and we've also been seeing som
