i'm sarah simmons here in northwest where it seems like aa gift from the city. if you are parked along one of these snow emergency routes last friday during the blizzard, guess what, you don't have to pay for it. d.c. mayor muriel bowser is voiding all tickets issued last friday from snow emergency routes. in a bizarre twist there are a some people we talked to who who weren't very happy about it. this all happened last week. w the snow started falling. city residents were told to movv their cars on thursday. it went into affect friday morning. the mayor says she understands many people may not have known v about the retrickses and were out running errands to prepare for the storm. she says the ticket dismiss alice one small way the district can help people recover from the storm. the fine is not small.
