that is the million dollar question right now sarah because we're in very much uncharted waters when it comes to supreme court nominations i certainly can't remember a time when it's calm down exactly like this in the meantime senate republicans are also teaching the full senate vote on cavanagh's confirmation despite the fact that they have agreed to have this f.b.i. investigation happen so it looks like they're still trying to push forward with this. even with these compromises being made these obstacles being thrown in their way the vote scheduled on saturday to see whether or not they can even go forward with a vote and then the thing is the senate can still simply move forward with their vote and not have this investigation happen and this is a really double edged sword because they couldn't let this they could give this full week that's been asked for and let this investigation happen the investigation could turn up nothing and they could go ahead with the vote but they could also give enough time for these senators who are sort of declare that they're on the fence particularly
