this chain of custody letter from the company says 14 trucks were loaded from saratoga high school and shipped to the company's facility in pescadero, where it would be stored and later repurposed for landscaping, batting cages and other uses. but parents skeptical of the school's recycling claims actually followed three of those trucks, and they never ended up at that facility. instead, the parents took this photo of the trucks dumping more than 50 large rolls of the turf at a field in san martin, about a 75 mile drive away from the turf cycle facility. the parents say the turf appears to be gone now. the property's owner, who never responded to our questions, was hit with this zoning violation by the county, citing outdoor storage of artificial turf. turf cycle never responded to us either. the district told us it was concerned and will hold vendors to the same high standards we expect on future projects. there's no official artificial turf recycling program in california, and parents worry the old field will ultimately end up in a landfill. i didn't understand how like this could ha

we're seeing light traces there closer to saratoga dryer, all the way over into the east bay, but it is still cloudy at times, too, and we're going to continue to keep a close eye on this as we head into the next couple of days. here's what we can expect. we're going to see dry conditions today. clear skies throughout this afternoon and heading into the overnight hours tonight, we'll get passing clouds to become a lot more thick as we head into our saturday forecast. but don't be too alarmed. there's no rain with this just yet. it's not until sunday where we advance the clock into those morning hours where we see light. splashes of showers sweep throughout the north bay, giving us close to around 100th of an inch of rain, at least in areas like santa rosa and novato and all the way over into fairfield too. another thing to mention, those light onshore winds are going to become a lot more noticeable this weekend. we're still dealing with some gusty conditions right now, with wind speeds anywhere up to around 30mph just around 3:00 near san francisco, all the way up into bodega bay. th

now, from the flooding in novato to the mudslide in saratoga that closed highway nine crews there this morning still working to clear that debris. this morning we have team coverage on the aftermath and those flooding concerns. meteorologist kari hall is monitoring water levels. but let's start out with today in the bay's ginger conejero saab. she is live in guerneville. and ginger, you can really see the impact of the storm where you are. that's right. good morning. laura and marcus. and guerneville is not a place that doesn't see flooding. i mean, they usually do see flooding with some of these big storms. but the last time that we were even here, the water didn't come this far out. i want to show you a look kind of how how much water is on this road that leads into a park and into those homes. you can see there's a car that's still there. it's about halfway on those tires, though. the water comes about halfway on the halfway up on those tires. you can see that garbage truck there in the middle of the road. and moments ago we spoke to a gentleman who says that he lives nearby and say

over into the east bay, looking at scattered light showers and then a solid deck of rain there from saratogacruz mountains. so until 645, we are looking at a flood advisory into the east bay. so another two hours where we're going to see some ponding on the roadways, possible tree limbs coming down, and for the rest of the evening we're looking at the gusty winds. level two system 25 to 45 mile an hour winds with a 10th to a third of an inch of rain. so over 40 miles an hour has been the last hour. but now we're seeing 35 to about 40 miles an hour upper elevation, still 50 miles an hour. so pretty dicey for your ride home. and look at the winds staying elevated as we go through the overnight hours. it's breezy as we get into your friday, but the rain has ended and a quick look at the rest of the shower activity. we'll get a break in the next few hours, and another line of rain from 10 to 11:00. things quiet down towards the morning hours, so we're looking at about a 10th of an inch to a third of an inch in the wettest locations. surf is going to be building over the weekend, so we've got tha
