this one happened yesterday afternoon on satterfield court and it involved an 8-year-old girl. darcy spencer live in the newsroom with more details on this. darcy? >> aaron, perhaps the most alarming part of this incident is the age of the victim. as you say, she was 8 years old. that's the youngest of all the victims in this string of attempted abductions. she tells police, one of the men involved yelled out, hey, baby, come closer to the van. an 8-year-old girl was the victim of an attempted abduction here on satterfield court in spotsylvania county between 4:15 and 4:30 on saturday afternoon. she tells police she was approached by four men in a van. one got out and gestured for her to come to him. she ran to her father and stepmoth stepmother's house. the men got away. it's the fourth attempted abduction reported in spotsylvania county since october 14th. >> my daughter's not going o upside outside to play. >> reporter: the man was in a dull black ford econoline van. the men were dressed in gray, big poofy coats. some were wearing necklaces with crosses over top of those coa
