outside, where now warming up into the 50's and even the 60's 61 degrees in half moon bay. 51 for sausalito0 in pittsburgh. so the forecast models show this precipitation heading in. and if you look here, boom, we stop right there. it's overnight before dawn, the rain falls across the north bay and then what happens at dawn and beyond. boom. there it is. again, rain right across the entire bay area stretching up through northern california and stretching into the sierra in the form snowfall. we get some snowflakes, fresh powder for skiers. and we get to add a little bit to our snow pack, which is terrific. and then boom, it's gone. this christmas light rain goes quickly and all of we dry it out and we stay dry for the entire weekend. and then for the work week and then for the next weekend and beyond that, it is dry, a dry forecast. so future rain totals are not impressive. in san francisco, 14, 100's of an inch in the north bay about a half an inch. and you know what? that actually is enough to cause rises in the creeks and streams of the north bay. everywhere else. not terribly impressive
