i went to savannah awhile back. the college has done so much, with the single-screen theaters. the use them for teaching purposes and continue their operations. the same could be true of a place like this. they need to have renovation, and the two things were greatly together. by working cooperatively with the academy of our university, people can realize a lot of good things. the third issue is the threat to residential housing. i was not surprised but i knew that the number of students in residential housing is relatively small. as of the registration, only about 1600, or 9.5%. this is not all housed in previously residential areas. there were other uses that were converted. the actual numbers were probably a lot smaller. and i think that if they provide housing, they will probably be better off. having been a student in the late 60's, we were going out to collectively compete with other people for the rented properties. they can sometimes find properties that are not residential and make them into residential usage. and this will help the situation rather than making it wors

southern plains heading toward the georgia coastal area, low pressure developing right around this savannah georgia area. this is going to move to the east and eventually to the ocean. what has to happen for us to get good snow here or any kind of snow at all, they have to reform very strong. low pressure and have that moisture back over our region. at this point, it looks like the storm is going to be a little too far out to the east. so what does that mean for us? let's take a look at this quick graphic. if we get any precipitation at all west, maybe it comes as rain. the snow, if they get it at all, extreme southern portions of virginia. ocean city might see a couple of inches of snow. for our region, looks like maybe a few snow flakes at this point. let's go back to my computer. let's show you what's going on. cold tonight but that low pressure, see how cold it gets then it moves off to the east. new england by monday might see some snow out of it. for us the sun will return. it will be breezy. even sunday we might clear out a little bit. the bay temp around 34, so tonight let's call it
