. >> reporter: sayer ra, first the -- sarah first the good news the injuries are non-life threatening. an investigation is underway. the fire was out and the firefighters were breaking down an aluminum ladder when it hit the power line. we talked with a witness who saw it happened. >> the fireman was the only one holding it, his body stiffed and he fell right back. it was unbelievable sight. >> reporter: it is not clear where the second injured firefighter was at the time. the other firefighters immediately started administering first aid before medics arrived and rushed both men to temple university hospital. the fire started around 9:30 a.m. and was declared under control 7 minutes later. around 10:00 a.m. the firefighters started breaking down the scene and removing a ladder to the second floor. it came in contact with a 7600 volt power line. >> he went from holding the ladder to dropping down to the side of his body and he passed out. >> reporter: investigators are on the scene to find out what went wrong. firefighters are given extensive training to operate around power line. >>
