do you hear much about the sba? d feel like the sba loans are working or that there's enough outreach? >> i think yeah for the most working. are i mean obviously my sister-in-law, she was able to get an sba loan for our business to start it up in lincoln, and that come without that she would not have been able to open up our business. other companies that i work with, they are able to get sba loans as well, and we work with local banks and credit agencies in lincoln and around lincoln, but for the most part i think they have been very successful in getting what they need. on a few occasions they have been turned down or hit regulation that may not have made sense to them or to us, but it cost them to not be able to get the loan that he wanted. >> i'm pleased to hear that. i will end with this. there is a cigar bar in my district that just got an sba loan, and in order to qualify for the sba loan they had to do an environmental impact statement that was costly and took time away from the process and delayed the openi

sba in this room is proposing to take all of these out. affiliation was simplified under the community advantage pilot program back in may and we are looking to see how that is working. but community advantage loans are limited to 350,000 and under, so what this does is it would remove affiliation requirements right down to if we didn't talk about it as the franchise directory, the franchise directory, provided the lenders with a list of all the franchise concepts that review the documents and say this is not affiliated so you as a lender, your borrower has control over their own business. they don't have a multinational corporation. they tell them what the sign says, mcdonald's is not making hot dogs or burgers but at the end of the day, taking that away, something that is working really well and that is being removed as well as part of the proposed rule. >> i want to say we are a community, fd is a regulator. we are captives, we were 250 until earlier this year. it may work under the community advantage which is a smaller loan program ta
