they blame mayor libby schaaf. an attorney for the group sent her a letter a few days ago.. saying their decision came after schaaf told the east bay times.. she didn't support the proposal. the letter to the mayor read in part, quote: "with overwhelming shock, we read with great dismay and disappointment that you and your administration did not recommend the proposal be forwarded to the city council for consideration." this comes as nevada moves forward with a plan to build the raiders a new stadium in las vegas. the state's govenor has met with the team's owner to discuss his intent on relocating the team. he says he plans to call lawmakers into a special sesson next month -- to talk about financing the new, 750-million dollar stadium. but -- n-f-l owners would still have to approve a raiders relocation. police at u-c berkeley say: a man in a motorized wheelchair is riding around campus.. trying to grope women. witnesses reported seeing the man at various locations friday.. including the student union.. and the free speech cafe. so far, no actual victims have come forward.
