i spoke with the stanislaus county schaeffer adam christensen. he said the goal today is to determine whether the vehicle juliani car deny knows was -- cardenas was last seen riding in is in the water. the surface of the water, you can see it moving pretty quickly. it's flowing at a rate of about 4 feet per second. and the sheriff says stopping the flow of water is essential to do this search properly and that is their plan for today. juliani cardenas went missing earlier this week. we have cell phone video ktvu obtained showing the 4-year-old boy before he was object ducted -- abducted. the man he is pictured with is his mother's ex-boyfriend, 27- year-old jose rodriguez is accused of abducting juliani earlier this week. rodriguez and juliani were last seen riding in a silver toyota corolla. a witness earlier this week told police he saw a vehicle fitting that description drive into this canal and so that's why the search for this missing 4-year-old boy has focused on this body of water. now, again, any minute now, back out here live we can show
