meteorologist bonnie schneider is here. any relief? >> susan, not this weekend.oking at another bitter blast of arctic air. fridged conditions across the country, particularly in the south, where temperatures are in the 20s. the teens, and feeling like they're in the single digits in parts of the southeast. and that's i big concern for the citrus growers in florida. because on sunday night we're going to see those temperatures sustained for a long period of time in the 20s. you can see a front has now passed through. and without any sort of cloud cover overnight, the temperatures can really plummet. let's talk about that. high temperatures today are going to be cold unless you're in los angeles. that's where it's 78 degrees. atlanta's high is only 29. 53 in miami. 24 in boston. so we're actually very close to areas in the northeast and the southeast. and then as we head across the country, we are looking at some nice conditions if you're looking to get away and maybe escape the cold weather, you'll probably want to head to southern california. that's where it's 7

our bonnie schneider is in the cnn weather center tracking all the cold temperatures out there. much of the nation is looking to you saying can i get some relief? >> i'm so happy i'm the one who gets to say it. >> bearer of goods news. >> finally. all week long, though, my weather colleagues have been telling you that this cold is just going to keep on coming, and it is because we still have it through the weekend. but monday and tuesday and wednesday you will see relief, just not this morning. check out the record low temperatures in aberdeen, south dakota, negative 31. that's not the windchill factor. that's the actual temperature. it plummeted that far down below zero. waco, texas, eight 8 degrees. it's been 20 years since waco, texas, has dropped down into the single digits. incredible numbers across much of the region and we're still tracking, of course, some very chilly conditions there, as well. we've also been watching the weather in florida. just to let you though that we are looking at snow that's accumulated not even on the windshield. this is from green eyed gem on t
