the schuylkill expressway westbound.t watching as you were talking because we had the police walk across hold traffic while they put the cars involved off to the side. this is the schuylkill expressway westbound here near belmont. police are out here blocking the left lane. just a second ago they moved the vehicles involved off to the right shoulder. so we are jammed on the schuylkill and i want to show you these travel times from the blue route to the vine, it's a 44 minute ride. westbound it's 32 minute ride. very heavy delays. normally it would be about 17 minutes so it's taking you a lots longer and here's why. that was one accident on the schuylkill web. here's another accident on the schuylkill eastbound in generally the same place, this one approaching belmont. we could see police and penndot out here on the scene. they've got the arrow board out. they're blocking the left lane here but they're also blocking the right shoulder just like that other accident. you've got the left lane and the right shoulder in each d

once you get to the schuylkill it looks like 76.estbound you'll find that pocket of traffic at city avenue, as you try to maneuver through your western suburbs. the eastbound slowing at the curve and then approaching the north bound side of the boulevard is moving well. as we look at the the schuylkill expressway in the eastbound direction again within your western suburbs it is in the great. that is this delay right here. the that is eastbound side as awe approaching the area have of conshohocken, more so, i would say really this is 476, moving down towards that way. so ease wound on the schuylkill expressway speed sensors dropping in the teens. same thing traveling on i-95, look at that delay stemming back to the far northeast philadelphia trying to make your way down to the vine. watch out for an accident eastbound on the pennsylvania turnpike at downingtown, compromising one of the lanes there. in major problems for mass transit, ukee. >> we're learning more about the accidental shooting that killed a pennsylvania state trooper

traveling on i-95 and schuylkill i would say your two worst roads.ets get outside and take a look we are taking a lot a the vine street expressway. in major problems, but getting to the vine using southbound side of i-95 will definitely be a long hall out of the north east. but again, once you get here vine street expressway looks great. let's switch things up and move you to traveling around 476 and area of route one. if you are commute nothing the northbound direction you will find a touch of traffic building around the area have of route one. that is your northbound side. southbound side on the opposite. we are starting to feel some of this volume building. we're also seeing delays or at least numbers dropping on 422 eastbound that usual commute between the area of oaks and trooper, starting to get hairy, 202 not awful. traveling on 476, around the mid county tolls and schuylkill nothing major and no major delays for mass transit. it is only just rush hour problems on the schuylkill, i-95 is your biggest hurdle to jump over right now, erika. >> th

this is the schuylkill expressway past the curve eastbound. you see the tractor-trailer and the flares set up. it's a disabled tractor-trailer, but it caused a significant fuel spill. that's the issue this morning. we have it blocking one lane, and one lane getting by. over the past 15 minutes we're seeing slower traffic move through than earlier. this is one of the first places where you see volume this morning. they have crews on the scene they are trying to do the cleanup in the area, if it takes a while, as it might with the significant fuel spill out on the road. this will be a problem for the morning commute. you have to keep an eye on that. let's talk about the other areas you can use. use ridge pike, route 23, conshohocken state road, lancaster avenue or route 30 instead. the problem is eastbound on the schuylkill expressway past the curve, exit 332. you can already at this early hour see the area of yellow on the maps. it's showing slowing in that area even now with the light volume out there. as the morning progresses this could be a
